Glow Paper for Inkjet Printers, 5 × A4 – Glow in the Dark

Printable glow paper for inkjet printers: the coated paper stores light and glows green in the dark. Use it for glowing invitations, signs, crafts and motifs. Printed areas do not glow – in the dark your print appears as a dark cut-out.

Properties

• Printer: inkjet printers only
• Paper: 350 g/m², approx. 0.4 mm thick – sturdy like card
• Colour: greenish yellow by day, green in the dark
• Afterglow duration: up to 4 hours after full charging in complete darkness; at its strongest in the first few minutes
• Charging: with sunlight or artificial light, as often as you like

How to print on the glow paper

1. The side with the green tint is the print side.
2. In the printer driver, select “photo paper” or equivalent as the paper type and “photo printing” as the print mode.
3. Set the highest quality level; if possible, use slow printing so the ink can soak in.
4. Let the ink dry thoroughly, then cut, stick or process further.

Tip: Because only the unprinted areas glow, designs with plenty of empty space – such as lettering or outlines – stand out most clearly in the dark.

Good to know

There is a separate type of glow paper for laser printers. Afterglow is an aid to orientation and a visual effect, not a light source: it becomes visible in real darkness. The longer and brighter the light the paper receives beforehand, the longer it glows.
