Fairy-Tale Sticker Hansel and Gretel 30 cm – Glow in the Dark

Hansel and Gretel stand in front of the decorated gingerbread house at the edge of the forest, beneath a starry sky – a motif from the fairy-tale world of the Brothers Grimm. By day it shows as a clearly drawn silhouette; once the light is switched off, the light areas release the stored light as a calm green glimmer. No electricity, no harsh points of light.

How to apply the sticker

1. Clean the surface: it should be dry and free of dust and grease.
2. Peel off the protective film, place the motif in the desired position and smooth it down from the centre outwards. No tools or extra adhesive needed.
3. Before first use, hold it close to a bright lamp or in sunlight for about half a minute. Then switch off the light – the motif glows green.

Tip: In everyday use the motif recharges again and again from daylight or room light. The brighter the light source, the stronger and longer the afterglow – simply leaving the room light on for a short while before bedtime is enough.

Good to know

Afterglow is decoration and orientation, not lighting: it is only visible in real darkness. It glows at its strongest in the first few minutes, then gradually fades to a faint glimmer. Once your eyes have adjusted to the dark, it remains visible for much longer. The glow of the fairy-tale motifs is deliberately subdued: the motif is meant to keep children company as they fall asleep, not to dazzle. Intended for indoor use.
