The glow film is a self-adhesive vinyl film with a glow pigment based on strontium aluminate. It stores daylight or lamplight and releases it in the dark as a blue-green glow – without electricity and as often as you like. In the dark, blue-green looks slightly cooler than yellow-green.

Good to know
Afterglow is an aid to orientation, not a light source: it becomes visible in real darkness. The film does not replace mandatory safety signage. Outdoors, only apply it where it is sheltered from the weather, for example on a window or letterbox; if exposed to rain, snow or abrasion, also cover it with a transparent protective film. For heavily used areas such as stair treads, glow in the dark paint with clear varnish is more suitable.
