Typical uses are river tables, resin jewellery and coasters, mould making and decoration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCasting resin:\u003c\/strong\u003e in thin, runny resin the grains sink. Let the resin thicken slightly, then stir them in and distribute quickly – or add the granules only to the top layer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSprinkling:\u003c\/strong\u003e sprinkle onto still wet varnish, glue or resin and press lightly; protect smooth surfaces with clear varnish afterwards.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eConcrete, paving, joints:\u003c\/strong\u003e press into the still damp surface and sand flush after curing – or embed in a transparent, walk-on layer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOutdoors:\u003c\/strong\u003e work with solvent-based, weatherproof carriers such as epoxy or exterior clear varnish.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe clearer and lighter the carrier, the stronger the glow. Prime dark surfaces in a light colour first.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat's included\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e100 g glow granules orange-red, grain size approx. 0.5–1 mm, in a poly bag.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eGood to know\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfterglow is an aid to orientation and a visual effect, not a light source: it becomes visible in real darkness, hardly under a street lamp. The 1 mm granules are not waterproof: in water they gradually dissolve to a greater or lesser extent and the glow effect is lost. For use in or near water, embed the grains in resin or a water-resistant clear varnish – or use the 4 mm granules, in which the pigment is bound in synthetic resin.
